Cooking instruction:
Before Cooking: Fully defrost the duck and remove outer bag and clear plastic sheet from between duck halves. Once thawed, do not re-freeze. As appliances vary, please use these heating instructions as a guideline . Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Oven method (From defrosted using instructions above)
1. Place each duck half on a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven (200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6).
2. Cook for 30-35 mins until the duck is golden brown and crispy.
Microwave and Deep Fry Method (From defrosted using instructions above)
1. Place each duck half on microwave plate and cook for 3 mins (750w) in microwave.
2. Using a deep fat fryer, heat oil to 190C/360F.
3. Deep fry each duck half for approximately 2 minutes until the duck turns golden brown and crispy.
Pancake:
1. Pierce film bag and place on a microwave plate.
2. Microwave on full power for 30 seconds (750w).
3. Remove from bag and separate immediately.
Hoisin Sauce: Defrost and serve.
To Serve:
1.Shred crispy duck using 2 forks.
2.Take a pancake and spread with a teaspoon of Hoisin sauce, add some duck, shredded cucumber and spring onions then roll the pancake up and enjoy.
